We have owned Golden Retrievers and Labradors within the family for over 40years. 

My husband, 8 year old son and I have 2 Goldens of our own, Barney is 8 years old and show line and Lily 3.5 years old is a working line golden retriever, Lily is an amazing pet, off lead her genes really shine through - flushing through bushes and fields, constantly looking to get in water to swim and play and her recall is perfect. At home, she is a real people dog. Always wanting cuddles and she will stick her head on your lap and just stare at you until more strokes are received. She is stunning both in looks and personality which is why we wanted to breed for ourselves to keep a puppy from her.
