Description

Autumn's ideal home

Autumn is a nervous and worried soul who came into our care through no fault of her own. She would ideally need a quiet, adult-only home environment. As she’s wary of the outside world a home with a nice garden for her to potter around in is essential. She needs a household that has minimal visitors to begin with and a safe space to escape to all of her own. Autumn could share her new home with another calm and quiet dog, pending a successful mix at the centre. She does have some medical considerations that will be discussed with any potential adopters.

Could you be Autumn's perfect match?

Autumn is a Labrador cross who is approximately 5 years old. She hasn't had the best of time in life and this comes across in her anxious nature. A home that can provide her with patience and time to help her gain the confidence she needs would be just what she’s looking for. She’s an absolute sweetheart, we can’t wait to find understanding owners who won’t expect too much from her at first so that she has a chance to flourish and show her true self.

Buying Checklist

Golden Retriever Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Golden Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
