WANTED: Potential Assistance Dogs (12-20Months Old)

Help bring independence, safety, and companionship to those who need it most

Hi, I’m Lee, a professional Assistance Dog Trainer with years of experience helping people with disabilities gain freedom and confidence through the support of a well-trained dog. I’m currently looking for calm, confident young dogs to join my specialised training programme.

These dogs will go on to change lives supporting people living with physical or mental health challenges, offering comfort, stability, and real independence in their everyday lives.

I’m looking for:

 • Dogs aged 10 to 20 months

 • Calm and even-tempered

 • Sociable with people and dogs

 • Comfortable in new environments

 • Keen to learn and engage

 • Healthy and up-to-date with vaccinations

Ideal breeds include Golden Retrievers, Labradors,or similar, though I’m open to any breed or mix with the right temperament and structure.

I’ve dedicated my life to training Assistance Dogs and matching them with people who need them most. Every dog in my care receives one-on-one, ethical, and reward-based training that prepares them for real-world support tasks and public access. I don’t rush the process these dogs are trained with purpose, care, and attention to detail.

This work isn’t just my profession it’s my passion. I’ve seen the transformation that a great Assistance Dog can bring, and I’m committed to making that a reality for more families across the UK.
