Dizzy's ideal home

Dizzy is a sweet 1-year-old Bulldog x Golden Retriever. She is a lovely girl who can be a little shy to begin with when meeting new people however quickly makes friends. Dizzy is looking for a home with children aged 10 and above and would like to be the only pet in the home. She would love to have her own garden where she can stretch her legs and run around playing with her favourite toys!

Could you be Dizzy's perfect match?

Dizzy adores a fuss from the people she knows and loves a snuggle. She loves to play with her toys especially her favourite ball! Dizzy walks nicely on lead and loves exploring on her walks. Dizzy is not used to being left alone so would need someone to be at home with her most of the day, and for someone who can build up her leaving hours gradually. Dizzy can be uncomfortable travelling in the car and needs owners who are understanding of this. She is a fantastic girl who would make a great companion. The height of this dog is below the threshold required for a dog to be considered an American Bully XL type. AWE licence number 176240 by West Lothian Council.

Golden Retriever Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Golden Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
