Description

Remi's ideal home

Say hello to our golden girl Remi. This ray of sunshine has now started her search for her forever home and will require that special someone who has the time and patience to work at her pace. Remi came into us pregnant from the pound and delivered 7 beautiful babies that have all found their new homes, Remi was an amazing mummy and looked after her puppies so well, so now its her turn to loved and pampered. This gentle lady is looking for a quiet home that has some experience with dogs to help her settle into a new environment. We also feel that she could potentially live with another calm dog after successful meets here at the centre, if there are any children in the home we would need them to be very sensible around dogs and 14+. This is because she can sometimes get a little worried in new situations and will need a bit of confidence building at the beginning. We would love for Remi's new family to be home most of the day at the start as she loves company.

Could you be Remi's perfect match?

Remi is a 6 year old Golden Retriever that captivates everyone she meets. Even though she hasn't had the best start in life her endearing personality and gentle demeanor make it easy for her to win hearts over effortlessly. As Remi hasn't had a lot of experience in a home setting she will need help with basic house training, therefore a secure garden area would be amazing for her to practice this, as well as exploring the world one sniff at a time. This sweet girl brings all the love with her everywhere she goes and will make an incredible addition to the right home. If you think you could be Remi's perfect match then please submit an adoption application and include her as one of your 'Favourite' dogs. Thank you!

Golden Retriever Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Golden Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
